The Urdu research journal TAUSEEQ concerns with the issues of Urdu language, literature, and culture. The major features of the journal are unpublished research works about Urdu classical text, manuscripts, modern critical theories, thoughts, ideas, issues of language, linguistic problems, and quality research of prose and poetry. This journal strictly follows the rules and regulations set by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan for journals.
The aim of the journal is to encourage quality research in Urdu language and literature. The objective of the Urdu research journal TAUSEEQ is the standardization of Urdu research and criticism, especially in Universities. The journal facilitates the publication of the Urdu researchers and scholars in universities of the country and abroad under regulations. The Quality of research publications are subject to the conscientious plagiarism check, screening process and double-blind peer review by national and international scholars owing strong research background and expertise in their respective areas. The published articles are intended for the provision of enriched resource to local, regional as well as international readers to enhance their knowledge and concepts. The submitted articles are reviewed by editorial, advisory board and either peer referees through a double-blind peer review process as a mandatory component. The Journal welcomes contributions from all corners of the world.

- Tauseeq is an Urdu research journal in which unpublished research articles in the context of Urdu language and literature are treated.
- All articles in Tauseeq are published according to the rules and regulations set by HEC.
- All articles go thorough peer review process before publishing which could take two to three months.
- Tauseeq is published bi-annually in June and December so articles must reach to the editor till September and Feb respectively.
- Articles after sending for publication in Tauseeq must not to be sent anywhere else for publishing before getting known about acceptance or rejection.
- Articles not discussing Urdu language or literature and written about any other language/ subject in Urdu are not acceptable.
Before sending articles take care of these matters.
- Articles must be in composed form. Soft copy must be in MS. Word format with following settings. Document type = A4, manuscript Font = Jameel Noori Nastaliq, Font size= 14, Quotation Font Size=12, Font size of abstract=12(Times New Roman)
- Articles must be accompanied by an abstract (100-300 words) in English and Urdu with key words.
- The author's name , institutional affiliation and designation should be mentioned on left corner of the manuscript.
- Complete address and contact details should be provided
- Please follow this structure for references: (Author, Book, Publisher, Address, Year, Page)
Note: All research Articles that are accepted for publication in Tauseeq expressed the view points of the respective author. So, every article is the sole responsibility of the writer. Editorial Committee and Women University Mardan have no responsibility in this regard. Editorial Committee has the right to make occasional changes to meet the Journal requirements.
